GoHighLevel Client App Builder: Build a Branded Android App, Vibe Code Your Client Portal and Add Custom Objects with AI

29 October 2026 9 min read Urooj Shafait, Urooj Labs

Short answer: Client App Builder is a new AI builder for the HighLevel Client Portal, available under Labs. You describe your business and AI builds a branded Android app you can publish as an installable APK. With Vibe Coding it builds a custom web Client Portal from prompts instead. With Custom Objects, members can submit things like applications or service requests that save straight into your CRM. All three keep your existing courses, communities, files, appointments and members connected. iOS publishing is listed as coming next.

Status check: HighLevel's changelog says Client App Builder is available under Labs with Android publishing supported, and that Vibe Coding and Custom Objects are available through Client App Builder in Labs. These items are also listed in HighLevel's LevelUp Day 2026 roundup, where the AI App Studio for branded mobile apps is labelled private beta. This post is based on HighLevel's release notes. Check Labs in your account before you promise an app to a client.

Coaches, course creators and service businesses usually want two things from a client portal: it should look like their brand, not a template, and it should do more than show videos. This release goes after both. Here's what HighLevel announced, how to switch it on, and practical uses for agency clients.

1. Client App Builder: a branded Android app built with AI

HighLevel describes Client App Builder as a way to turn your idea into a fully working, branded Android app without writing code, connected to the Client Portal you use today. According to the changelog entry, it includes:

How to build a branded Android app (steps from HighLevel)

  1. Enable Client App Builder from Labs.
  2. Open the builder and select Mobile as your app type.
  3. Describe the app you want: your business, your audience and the features you need.
  4. Select your design system and brand board.
  5. Preview the generated app, refine it with AI prompts and customise the experience.
  6. Click Publish to generate your installable Android app.

What's coming next: HighLevel lists iOS publishing, mobile app templates, MCP integrations and faster app generation. So if a client's members are mostly on iPhone, it is worth waiting before selling this as "your own app".

2. Vibe Coding: build your own Client Portal with prompts

Vibe Coding is the web side of Client App Builder. HighLevel says you can create a fully customised Client Portal by describing what you want, while members, courses and communities stay connected. From the changelog entry:

How to build a portal with Vibe Coding (steps from HighLevel)

  1. Enable Client App Builder from Labs.
  2. Open Client App Builder and choose to create a web experience.
  3. Describe your business, your audience and the portal experience you want.
  4. Select your design system and add brand images.
  5. Preview the generated pages and refine them with AI prompts or visual editing.
  6. Publish the portal and, if you want, connect your custom domain.

HighLevel lists ready-made industry templates, MCP support and faster app generation as coming next for Vibe Coding.

3. Custom Objects: let members submit data straight into your CRM

For agencies, this is the part that connects the portal to the CRM. HighLevel says that before this, collecting and storing custom member information in a portal needed extra tools or manual integrations. Custom Objects in Client App Builder let members submit information and create records, all saved in your HighLevel CRM. From the changelog entry:

How to add Custom Objects to a portal (steps from HighLevel)

  1. Enable Client App Builder from Labs.
  2. Open Client App Builder and start building or customising your Client Portal.
  3. Describe what members should submit, for example "Let members apply for a 1:1 coaching session."
  4. When prompted, confirm that you want to use Custom Objects in your CRM.
  5. Review the proposed objects, fields, relationships and visibility settings.
  6. Approve the plan, and AI creates the objects and connected portal pages.

HighLevel says you can then open the new objects directly from your CRM. There's also a help article on Custom Objects in Client Portal AI.

One thing to check first: count how many custom objects the sub-account uses before you start. With a limit of 10 per sub-account, an AI build that adds 3 at a time can fill that up fast.

Update, 29 October 2026: Service booking in the Client Portal LEVELUP 2026 · RELEASED 29 OCT

HighLevel listed "Client Portal: Service booking integration" in its LevelUp Day 2026 roundup and released it on 29 October 2026, when its changelog added service booking to the Client Portal. Clients can book, reschedule and cancel services from the Appointments section of the portal, without separate booking links. This is separate from Client App Builder, and HighLevel says it is available in the new Client Portal.

How to turn it on (steps from HighLevel)

  1. Go to Calendars > Services > Booking Pages and open the booking page you want to offer.
  2. Under Client Portal, turn on Allow booking from client portal and click Save changes.
  3. Go to Memberships > Client Portal > Settings > App Permissions, turn on Appointments and click Save.

Practical uses for agency clients

In every case, build in a test sub-account first, review the AI's data plan line by line before approving it, and check the live preview on a real phone.

A quick checklist before you build

  1. Confirm Client App Builder shows in Labs for your account.
  2. Set up the brand board (logo, colours, images) so the AI has something to work with.
  3. Make sure courses, communities and appointments in the Client Portal are tidy, because the app pulls them in.
  4. Check your custom object count (limit 10 per sub-account).
  5. If you want payments on records, connect a payment provider first.
  6. For mobile, remember it is Android only for now.
